Butlers Court School make an extremely generous donation!

A few months ago, Butlers Court School, decided to donate most of the money their Year 6's had fundraised for through a series of mini businesses, like movie nights, raffles and selling milkshakes to The Pyjama Fund.

At one point during the year, the pupils of Year 6 get split into groups of about 6 and have to run a successful business for a day to try and raise money. At the end of the couple of months when these businesses have been running, the money is added up and half of it goes toward buying things for their leavers' ceremony whilst the other half goes to 3 different charities. The Pyjama Fund was chosen as their main charity, so we got a cheque for £500, whilst The Alzheimer's Society and The Royal Marsden Hospital were also chosen.

Our co-founder Ines was a Year 6 pupil at the time, and ran a movie night along with some of her friends and nominated The Pyjama Fund as one of the charities that should be chosen.

We would like to say a massive thank you to Butlers Court Primary School for their generous donation to The Pyjama Fund.
